Vienna,
a fascinating European capital, conveys a special atmosphere. It is known
for waltzes, the blue Danube and beautiful buildings. The Imperial Palace,
Spanish Riding School, concert halls, the Opera House, countless museums,
splendid parks, and the Vienna Woods are part of its legacy. Music pervades
Vienna everywhere. Cobblestoned, narrow streets and small hidden squares
have the popular coffeehouses and pastry shops, small restaurants and
special places that the Viennese love to visit.
The University of Vienna
The University of Vienna
is centrally located in the Old Quarter on a spectacular boulevard. The
University offers intensive German language courses on all levels and
provides an opportunity to have direct contact with Austrian culture,
folklore, and way of life.
Wiener Meisterkurse
The Wiener Meisterkurse,
held at the Conservatory of Music of Vienna, offers music programs for
talented and gifted young artists from all countries. Preparatory and
Master Courses give artists the opportunity to receive instruction from
internationally known teachers and leading artists, as well as to work
out problems of their own artistic development.
